Arcelor Piombino has always considered the administration of the environmental aspects integral part and fundamental for its development, and it is just this attention that has permitted to arrive on 5 March 2001 to the certification of its “System of Environmental Administration”, according to the international standard UNI EN ISO 14001.
The demonstration of the resolution to improve its own performances in a constant and continuous way, we find in its Environmental Politics with its programmes and objectives. In fact, today more than ever, Arcelor Piombino thinks it must present itself to the market as a credible and attentive supplier both in the quality of the products as in the quality of the environment.
Today all personnel have a reason more to be proud because Arcelor Piombino prior to other companies has understood the importance of the environment for the present and future generations.
