QUALITY CERTIFICATION
ArcelorMittal Piombino obtained its first quality certification in 1993. After the reconfirmation of certification in 1996 and again in 1999, on the threshold of 2002, it attained the certification in conformity with the new UNI EN ISO 9001: 2000(Vision 2000) regulations, yet again in the perspective of a policy devoted to perfecting its processes and products. In addition, it has achieved:
Certification according to the new standard UNI EN ISO 9001-2008 in November 2009;
Certification in conformity with the specific technical requirements of the ISO TS 16949-2009 regarding the manufacturing of products for the automotive industry in October 2010.
All this has been accomplished as a result of the policies designed to continuously improve our processes and products.
