The company, established in 1974 as a small service center for galvanized and pre-painted products, moved to San Mango in 1989, following a remarkable expansion, which has continued progressively at the new site.
The factory includes a continuous painting line, equipped with cutting edge technical solutions and sophisticated systems for product and cycle management.
The interchangeability of some treatment tanks allows the use of diverse supports such as galvanizing, stainless steel, aluminum and cold rolled steel, without affecting the production line with frequent stops.
The most interesting feature of the paint line is the flexibility it allows in changing the paint and hence, the color, without stopping the line even for smaller batches, thanks to two independent coating heads. The plant has always paid great attention to the quality of the product and in 1995 attained the ISO Certification 9001.
The service center is dedicated mainly to the processing of pre-painted and galvanized steel, completing its offer with cold-rolling and pickling lines.
Over the past ten years the company has successfully established itself domestically in the traditional sector of construction, extending into the household appliance sector, but predominantly concentrating on the industrial goods sector, where its specific characteristics are best expressed. Its strong point is its service, namely, the ability to respond adequately to the needs of its customers using the flexibility of the line and the contiguity of the Service Centre.
On 3 May 2001, after three years of intense business dealings with Arcelor Piombino, an agreement under which the Avellino Division became part of the Arcelor Group was finalized via the shareholdings acquired by Arcelor Piombino (now ArcelorMittal Piombino S.p.A.), establishing a new ally and production site that could be counted on in the Center-South.
On 1 January 2007, ArcelorMittal Avellino joined ArcelorMittal Piombino S.p.A..
