In 2009 we succeeded in reducing by 24% the frequency rate of accidents for both internal staff and contracting personnel.
The ArcelorMittal Group, also trains its own staff, with courses tailored to the needs of individual employees through the training center of ArcelorMittal University.

93% of the steel production of our company is accredited with the ISO 14001 certification. Some sites such as the group of Piombino and Avellino, can also claim EMAS certification.
